Is the outdoor fire pit, hot tub, gazebo and BBQ picnic area solely for our use?
No, these areas are shared.
Is there cell service?
Cell service can be spotty. We use cricket and have no problem. We've heard other carriers can be hit or miss.
What kind of TV does the guesthouse have?
The guesthouse has a Toshiba 32-inch HD smart firetv edition. There is no satellite of cable service. Don't forget to bring your streaming passwords. There is also a Blu-Ray/DVD player with some complimentary DVD's available for your use during your stay.
Internet Service?
Our internet service is the best available for our area. That being said we live in the country and sometimes streaming, and internet works great and other times it does not.
What are winter weather conditions like in your area?
Please plan ahead if reserving stays during the late fall and winter months. Our little country street and neighborhood has been lovingly nicknamed "Little Alaska" due to the weather pocket we are situated in. There are times when it could be raining down on Lewis River Hwy but snowing at our property due to the elevation we are at and the aforementioned weather pocket. That's one of the reasons we love it here. So, we always recommend planning ahead. We have also equipped the Guesthouse with a back-up generator in the event of power outages to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
What are the accomidations for vehicles?
For boaters, larger vehicles, trucks and trailers, no problem, we have a separate gravel round-a-bout parking area that can accommodate all your parking needs. Let us know ahead of time if you plan on bringing a boat or trailer so we can make sure the roundabout is clear for parking.
